International News: The Pakistani Army on Sunday (27 April) claimed to kill 54 militants near North Waziristan adjacent to Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. According to the army, these terrorists were illegally crossing the border and trying to enter Pakistan. The incident occurred in the turbulent North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The army quoted the intelligence report as saying that the slain militants have been identified as "dawn", which is an official term used for the Pakistani Taliban (TTP).

Foreign conspiracy is also accused

The Pakistani Army has claimed that these terrorists were sent by their "foreign masters" for the purpose of carrying out major terror attacks within Pakistan. However, the army did not name any country. Experts believe that this statement directly indicates active elements in Afghanistan. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) activities have seen a boom in Pakistan since the Afghan Taliban came to power, causing the concerns of Islamabad to deepen.

Such actions have been done earlier also

This is not the first time the Pakistani Army has carried out such a major operation. On March 21, the army also killed nine terrorists while raiding a terrorist hideout at Dera Ismail Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. All those terrorists were also described as "dawn". The terrorists killed at that time also included the leading terrorist Shirin, who was wanted in the murder of Army Captain Hasnain Akhtar.

Pakistan's warning to Afghan Taliban

Pakistan has directly warned the Afghan Taliban over an increase in terrorist attacks. Mohammad Sadiq, a special representative of Pakistan's Afghanistan affairs, said that Afghanistan would have to control TTP. During a seminar held in Islamabad, Sadiq said on television, "If the Afghan Taliban did not control the terrorists, Pakistan will cancel all the agreements made with Afghanistan."

Deepening due to rising violence

Since the capture of the Taliban in Afghanistan, terrorist activities in Pakistan have been seen. Experts say that if there is no coordination between Pakistan and Afghanistan, then there may be cross -border violence and volatility in the coming times. At present, Pakistan is busy strengthening the security system within itself, but repeated infiltration is increasing its concern.
